  • The name "Shyster" is a noun for a person, especially a lawyer, who uses unscrupulous, fraudulent, or deceptive methods in business.
  • Shyster appears to be copying models of Stodgey with its 1972 Cremlin being modeled after the Suaver LT and 1979 model after the Suaver EX.
    • This may also associate with Chick Hicks' history as a racer.
    • The 1979 Cremlin was also based on the 1981 Buick Regal NASCAR.
  • Shyster may also associate with the Shystermatic brand.
  • The Shyster Cremlin, Stodgey Suaver, Capitol Motors Verve and the Crown Celesta are the only known production vehicles to have stock cars modelled after them.
