Cap 'n' Tap Capstone of Caps was the radiator cap emporium at the Oasis, where travelers could purchase a myriad of combinations of caps in every style and shape. If the desired size was not available, Stanley would custom-produce it free of charge.

History

This venture began in 1909 when Stanley travelled west to California to make a living as a traveling salesman of radiator caps. In 1922, Stanley's Oasis was built for the thriving community of Stanley and his customers, including the construction of the Cap 'n' Tap building. In 1927, Lizzie overheated in the desert, and Stanley came to her rescue by offering a special radiator cap that she absolutely adored.
